Then my laptop went on the blink which necessitated a trip to the Mac store in Leeds: 50 minutes by train

There was heavy rain overnight and I wasn’t sure that we should risk a long walk over the moors but I’d been wanting to take the old Haworth road with its scattered farms and pack horse trails.
